How do I reserve a book /put a book on hold?

To reserve a book do one of the following:

• Log on to the web site. Serch for the title you want in the search field and choose the media type and edition you want if there are options available. Then click put a hold and choose your pickup location.

• Call you library during opening hours. We will assist you over the phone. You will need you library card number or you Swedish personal identification number

• Call the library contact center at 036-105580 or email us at  biblioteken@jonkoping.se The library contact center is open mon - fri 10AM - 1PM.You will need you library card number or you Swedish personal identification number

I have been notified that my reserved book is ready for pickup, but I would like to pick it up from a different library. Is that possible?

 Yes, it absolutely is, but it will take a few days. Contact the library where you were supposed to pick up, and they will help transfer your book to any ot the other pulic libraries in Jönköping.

I have been trying to reserve a book on the website but it doensn´t work. What's wrong?

Are you using a temporary account you created on the website?Those can only be used for digital media. To reserve and borrow regular books you need to visit a library and get it exchanged for a regular library card. Bring valid ID.
