How do I get a library card?

To get a library card you need to visit a library and talk to the staff. You need to have a valid ID.
It doesn't cost you anything to get a library card, and it takes about two minutes to register. The library card is connected to your library account.

Can I get a library account without visiting a library?

You can register for a temporary account on our website. A temporary account is valid for 14 days and gives you access to digital services such as e-books and Pressreader. To keep using the services and to borrow regular books and use other services, you need to visit a library and get your temporary account converted to a regular one. When you do this, you will also get a library card. You have to bring valid ID.

I have forgotten my PIN-code. What do I do?

You can order a new PIN-code on our website. You have to use the same e-mail you used to register your account (when you got your library card). If you have changed or lost your e-mail adress, you need to visit a library and show ID to get a new code.

How do I access my account on the library website?

At the top right hand corner is a blue log in - button. Click that. Then enter your username (either your Swedish personal identity number or your library card number (the one below the bar code on your library card). Enter your pin code. Now you are succesfully signed in! Click the blue bar at the top of the web page (the one that says "my pages" to see your loans, reservations and other account details.

How do I acess my account on my phone?

Somewhere in the lower middle of your phone screen, there will be a blue ball with a + inside it. Tap that. A menu will appear. Tap the figure that looks like a person. That will take you to the sign in page, where you sign in with your Swedish personal identity number or your library card number (the one below the bar code on your library card), and your PIN-code. This will take you straight to your account overview page.
